- Remember the goal is to HAVE it all, not DO it all
- Ask for help
- Work smarter not harder – implement foxprints to gain efficiencies
I can’t believe this spring our kiddos will be 3, 5 and 7. I’ve learned a lot in the past 6 years juggling work and home life and feel like we’re just about to turn the corner as the kids become more autonomous. Part of the reason we are launching our online community is to give young professionals who are on the brink of starting families the tools they need to thrive as they embark upon the unknown. I know I could have used more guidance.
If I could give my pre-kids self some practical advice-it would be to ask for more help. So many times throughout my journey I felt that I had to do it all. 6 years in, I’m finally realizing that there are so many resources available to me to help me work smarter, not harder. Veteran parents – what is the most important piece of advice you would give to the next generation of working parents?
